PLEASE NOTICE that our dyes have strong color pigment and for receiving light colors of your candles you need to add ⅕ part of one star. For receiving more deep and bright colors add more dyes.

I am familiar with a variety of candle-making kits and make candles daily. This kit is labeled as a soy candle-making kit but also includes beeswax which is a bonus but should be mentioned in the actual product description. The kit is well-rounded and very close to all-inclusive as described. It includes a few things that other kits do not have such as rose mold and warning labels. It does not all the tools necessary to use the rose mold but many will have these tools at home. It has a unique melting pot that rests over a small pot for double boiling. The wax is of good quality as are all of the materials. It is missing a thermometer for measuring the wax temperature which is important if you arent using a temperature-controlled method. I love the cute little stickers provided. I also really like the glitter. The colors are in star shapes and that is also a nice touch. This is a good place to start on your candle-making journey.

Candles are actually very easy to make and this kit makes easy. Everything you need is included in the kit. Add essential oils for nice scented candles. Add colored wax for colored candles. Instructions easy to follow.

I have dabbled in many crafts over the years, but until now, I have never made candles. This is a complete set that is perfect for beginners. The only thing you need is a small pan to create a double boiler. There are enough supplies to make 6 small tin candles. You can make bees wax and/or soy wax candles. My daughter and her friend enjoyed making the candles and now want to make more!

My 14-year-old granddaughter was very excited when I told her this kit was in our house. She dove right in and read the instructions and got started. She made two candles in tins and one in the rose mold. All 3 exceeded her expectations.The kit comes with more than enough wax, both bee, and soy, to make a lot of small candles. The two essentials oils made the house smell so good both while she was making candles and when they were burning. I also love that the supplies come in a reusable box so I can store the products until the 11-year-old is ready to make her own candles.

My DIL is into candle and soap making as she has time. This set looked particularly nice to me so I got it for her birthday. My only problem with the kit is that the scents are ‘leaking’ out of the box for someone with respiratory allergies like myself. If this would be a problem for you, you might want to bypass this set for a set with scent-free candles. Otherwise, it looks complete and should have everything that you need in it. I really like getting a set to learn a new hobby with, that is complete. What would be worse than when you finally have time at 8-9 PM to sit down to use this set only to find that something vital is missing. Then you can’t use the set until you get the vital item. This set seems to meet that need although I haven’t made candles, so I may have missed something. I hope she likes this set. Even mothers of little ones, need to find a way to have ‘me’ time.I appreciate getting this set. Thank you.

I USED THESE BEGINNERS CANDLE MAKING KIT TO MAKE CANDLE FOR MY HOME.THIS WAS A SPECIAL EDITION SO I GOT SOY AND BEES WAX… I GOT CANDLE TINS, SILICONE MOLD, MELTING JUG, OILS, GLITTERS, WICKS AND EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.I JUST HAVE TO GET THE FORMULA AND TEMPS CORRECTI DID MAKE SOME WONDERFUL SCENTS OF CANDLES THOTHIS WAS WELL WORTH THE COST and MOREI LOVE IT

This is a really great soy candle making kit. I really like the flower mold it is a sight to behold. I also like to ladle that you can use as a double boiler. Just simply set the ladle over your boiling water to melt the soy wax and you do not risk a fire. Thank you for reading my review.
